This experience laid the foundation for her transition into education, where she identified a critical gap between raw culinary talent and structured, industry-ready training. 

Driven by a passion to empower others, Nonhlanhla founded Kushinda Academy to create a platform that goes beyond traditional cooking schools. Her vision was clear: to equip aspiring chefs and food entrepreneurs with not only culinary skills, but also the business knowledge, confidence, and mindset required to build sustainable careers and enterprises.
