About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilitator & Assessor to deliver high-quality training for the Intermediate Occupational Certificate: Food and Beverage Process Machine Operator (SAQA ID: 121149). This qualification is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge to operate food and beverage processing equipment, ensuring quality standards and specifications are met in a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training, assessing learners, and ensuring that the curriculum is aligned with industry standards. This is a fixed-term contract position, ideal for someone with a strong background in food and beverage processing, manufacturing, and machine operation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and practical sessions for the Food and Beverage Process Machine Operator qualification.
• Assess learners’ knowledge, practical skills, and work experience in line with the qualification requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to learners to ensure successful completion of the program.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and assessment outcomes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date with industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality assurance and accreditation requirements.

Requirements:
• A relevant qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field (NQF Level 4 or higher preferred).
• Proven experience in the food and beverage processing industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage processing equipment, processes, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) requirements is an advantage.
• Moderation qualification and experience will be advantageous,
